Years of wet wipes finally caught up with them

Hands up if you knew that you should not flush wet wipes down the toilet?

Most of use know this.  Either because we were told repeatedly or because there are so many signs in public toilets asking you to not flush wet wipes, cotton pads or menstrual products.

But while most of us know this, there are others who don’t.  And that is why yesterday we were in Alexandria with is North of Glasgow near Dumbarton.  For years, the daughter had been flushing wet wipes down the toilet and for years she had been dancing with luck and finally, the song had finished.

Yes that is right.  The toilet would not flush anymore because the toilet had blocked.  It took the better part of a day to access and remove all of the wet wipes.  A crazy number had accumulated and it is a minor miracle that they had managed to go this long without the pipe blocking already.

But as always, when you need a plumbing and drainage expert at your door when they say they will and gets the job done – you need to call JSL Plumbing.
